All Things College’s mission is to advocate for quality education by informing students and parents nationwide on college readiness, standardized test-prep, and scholarships, ensuring an increase in minority economic growth and college retention rates. We host #AllThingsCollege workshops where I travel to high schools across the United States and share my journey as a student-entrepreneur, discuss the importance of college readiness, and the tools to be successful in one’s #AllThingsCollege journey. All Things College is two-pronged. I provide one-on-one support where a student can book a consultation, or they can purchase our College Board and E-book.
We offer four different services: All Things College General Consultation, Secure The Scholarship Bag, Gia the College Coach, and Management & Organization.
I started All Things College by accident. As a junior in high school, I hosted monthly ACT/SAT study sessions. I was struggling with the idea of mastering the content, as were my peers, so I began to host meetings where we could learn together. I saw a need in my community, that I was passionate about, and acted upon it. I have been able to identify that minority students can apply for college, get accepted, and attend a university/college. However, the problem is, a lot of minority students can’t remain students at said college or university due to financial hardships and lack of financial aid/scholarship support. Therefore, All Things College can aid in the regards of helping students who need guidance in applying for college but also helping students that struggle with scholarship searches.
Mainly, I want All Things College to boost the numbers of minority students attending college and earn scholarships. To bridge the gap between students who can’t afford to remain at their dream schools. I want All Things College to make an impact, regardless of how big or small.
